Section – 01: INTRODUCTION
OVERVIEW
Tundla, a small tahsil under Firozabad district of the state Uttar Pradesh (India) having a geographical advance of being on the Indian Railways map connecting Howrah-New Delhi and other Indian western states through the world famous city Agra in its vicinity, globally known for the 7th wonder of the world Tajmahal .It is located approximately 10 km from Firozabad in east and 25 km from Agra in West.
A great saint Param Pujya Pandit Mihi Lal Sharma ji latter (with a great respect and love) called by his disciples as Param Bhagwat Ji was born in a village Chulhawali about 6 Km. from Tundla. A teacher by profession he had great spiritual aspiration by birth and his this desire brought him to into contact with his Guru Dr. Chaturbhuj Sahay Ji, the founder of Ramashram Satsang, Mathura. After meeting his Guru Pandit ji Maharj very soon became the most loved and trusted disciple and carried the legacy of his Guru Maharaj and spread the vision and mission of Ramashrma Satsang throughout the country and abroad. The motto of the mission is to let the people self realize the basic principles of life and attain the ultimate objective of life through internal meditation “Antarik Sadhna” and by service to the people without any lust.
He dedicated his entire 50 years life to propagate the message of his Guru Maharaj and spread the principles of Ramashram satsang and to make the people aware about truth of life. He travelled, untiredly years together from village to city, door to door in every corner of country to fulfill these objectives and for serving the people for their spiritual, social upliftment including good health and hygiene. In his this mission Pandit ji Maharaj was equally supported by his three most dedicated sons the eldest Shri Prabhu Dayal Sharma, middle Shri Krishna Kant Sharma and Shri Suresh Sharma the youngest and their sons.
At a later stage of his life when the number of visiting disciples started growing manifold, Pandit Ji Maharaj pledged to have a permanent shelter for visiting Satsangi brethren and also for holding occasional satsang congregations (Bhandara) and constructed an ashram on station road, Tundla in the year 1975. After the Pandit Ji Maharaj merged himself in his Gurmaharj and taken nirvana on 13th December, 1983 his three sons and grandsons carried on the legacy.
Section – 02: FOUNDATION OF HOSPITAL
Tundla being distanced from large cities had biggest disadvantage of almost nil medical facilities. The people staying in Tundla and surrounding were deprived of any immediate medical aid locally and have to travel long distance for basic medical needs.The Sharma family seriously realized and to overcome these problems, immediately after demise (Maha prayan) of Pandit Ji Maharaj founded a charitable basic health center with general medicine and eye clinic facilities in the year 1992, annexed to the Satsang Ashram on station road Tundla.
The Hospital titled as “Mata Javitri Devi Charitable Hospital”, was dedicated to late Smt. Javitri Devi, wife of Pujya Pandit Ji Maharaj , the beloved mother and grandmother of Sharma family. The hospital was inaugurated by Param Pujay Hemendra Kumar ji, the them Guru Maharaj of Ramashram Satsang Mathura. In his inaugural address he blessed the Sharma family for theirsincere effort to serve the needy poor peoples and said that in coming future this hospital will grow manifold and will become a unique health Centre in the region. Since its inception about 700 eye operations were carried out and people were blessed with vision.
EXPANSION AND MODERNISATION OF HOSPITAL
The management committee realized that due to non-availability of a locally recognized health centre for treatment of multiple disease locally under one roof the people around Tundla and surrounding villages are deprived of immediate health support and they have to rush to distance cities for routine treatment as well as in emergencies. Delays in desired treatment some time results into severe casualties.
The cost of hospitalization specially for eye and dental treatment has gone very high and therefore, the management decided for expansion of the existing eye care facilities by inclusion of others e.g. dental, gemological, cardiac care and general medicine at a separate location in the vicinity of Ashram Bhawan having large area to accommodate these facilities. As a result foundation for a new hospital was laid down on 01/01/2018 for a two floor hospital with minimum 10 bed facility. The construction work was done throughout the year at war footing and a fully equipped hospital was ready in only one year. The hospital was formally inaugurated on 01/01/2019, it is fully equipped with state of the art medical technological equipment, modern facilities, fully computerized and internal networking, experienced and highly qualified Doctors and supporting staff. There is an exclusive Customer Support Cell function at exceptional to take care of visiting patients and linking to the desired consultations.
The Management has a vision for the hospital activities to be functional as per latest prescribed medical guidelines by having certification as per requirements of ISO/IEC 9001:2015 and NABH accreditation (Nation Accreditation Board of Hospitals) through recognized certification and accreditation authorities.
The management also decided to provide free medical facility for all treatments, which also fulfill the desired of Guru Maharaj, who once said that the modern medical facilities should be provided to all the needy people free of cost.
In the light of above background and objectives , this Quality System Documented has been documented to obtain certification in ISO/IEC 9001:2015 in first phase and NABH accreditation in second phase.
